|FtoH: Can you tell me a little bit about you?
Nancy: I am a 39 yr old working mother of 2. I currently am a nanny for my adorable twin niece and nephew. When I was young I was an athlete and I let life get in the way of living and let myself get very out of shape and technically obese.
FtoH: What was your starting weight and height?
Nancy: 237 lbs and I am 5’9″
FtoH: What was your goal weight?
Nancy: I am shooting for about 160, but truly just want to be healthy and happy with myself in the mirror!
FtoH: What eating plan did you use (for example: Weight Watchers, Atkins, Self, etc)?
Nancy: I started on the BodyByVi 90 day challenge on October 19 2011. The protein shake is amazing, delicious and extremely nutritious! Gave me the jump start to get healthy and make a healthy lifestyle change.
FtoH: Did you count calories? If so how strict were you?
Nancy: I counted calories using MyFitnessPal. I was strict but realistic. I don’t get down on myself if I have an off day. If I’m hungry I eat, I just choose healthy, whole foods that are low in calories.
FtoH: What exercise plan did you use?
Nancy: I started out not excercising for the first four weeks. I started doing Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, the workout I love to hate! I added in running and after 6 weeks of running/training I ran a half marathon!
FtoH: Where do you workout?
Nancy: I split my workouts between home, the gym and biking the trails!
FtoH: How much time per day do you spend working out?
Nancy: Anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours! Depending on what I am doing that day.
FtoH: Now that you are maintaining, has any of that changed (food and/or exercise)?
Nancy: I am still losing, I have about 30-40 pounds to go! I know my maintenance plan will include one protein shake as a meal replacement and one as a post workout snack.
FtoH: Do you have anything you’d like to recommend (a product, website, workout dvd, etc)?
Nancy: BodyByVi has been incredible! Feel free to talk with me about it at www.nancyjmn.myvi.net
FtoH: Anything else you would like to say?
Nancy: Losing weight and getting healthy is a life long lifestyle change! Some days will be easy and some will be hard. We have to learn to love, respect and prioritize ourselves. The healthier we are the better we are able to give to others! I want to set an example for my children and I want to have the energy to be a part of their daily activites!
